Engaging Customers
Using Other Platforms
ou know that not all social media platforms and tools are created equal. If
you use sites such as Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter you find an incredibly
Ylarge audience that is direct messaging, tweeting, sharing, and other social
activities. But these platforms aren’t the only choices you have for engaging with
your fans and prospects. New platforms are being developed all the time. Some,
such as Pinterest, started out with little fan fair and gained traction in a short
amount of time. If you consider adding some other choices to your marketing
roster it may help you attract a broader audience.

or Twitter but may help you find followers and spread your message. They are
Medium (a blogging platform), Reddit (a content discussion site), and (TikTok), a
social media video-sharing app.
