The options to post are the following:

                                  » Post Now: Post immediately.
» Add to queue: Put it at the end of the list of postings that have been
                                 scheduled.

» Save a draft: Continue to edit the post at a later date.
» Post privately: Send a post to a select person.
» Schedule: Choose a specific date.

These options allow you to coordinate your posts with specific campaigns, people,
or dates. Also, at the bottom of each post are icons for sharing the post (to email,
Facebook, Twitter, and a permalink, which is the link where the post will be found
even if it moves from its current spot in your post list), replying to the writer of
the post, reblogging it, and liking it. These icons help others engage with you. You
can also use them on other people’s posts to engage with them and make your
                             ideas known.

Note the tag icon at the bottom left of your post stream. Click this icon to create a
tag (or multiple tags) for your post — and you want to be sure to tag your posts.
Tagging your posts is how people find that content in addition to using categories
and hashtags (#). For example, if you’re citing a specific product in your post, you
can add the product name as a tag so that people searching for it via tags will be
                             sure to find it.

One great feature of a Tumblog is that no one can post without your consent.
When you authorize apps on some of the other social platforms, you may be giving
consent for them to post in your name. Tumblr does not permit this. There is a
setting called Submissions that asks whether others can submit posts into your
                             submission queue for approval.

                             Followers and Finds

This section shows who is following you in addition to showing you all your posts.
As shown in Figure 15-11, you can see the blogs of those who follow you, who you
follow, and your likes. In this section, you also see recommendations for new
                             blogs to follow.

This is where you discover new, interesting people and other blogs to interact
with. In the final heading, called Radar (see Figure 15-11), you see sponsored
                             posts.
