Pinning as a social activity

Pinterest makes finding and sharing pins a truly social activity. Previously
it would have been a marketer’s dream to have potential customers trading
pictures of her products and commenting on them. Now, customers can go right
to the source of the pin and buy the product. According to AdEspresso (https://
                           adespresso.com/blog/pinterest-marketing-statistics/) 80 percent of pins
                           are re-pins.

Re-pinning, liking, and commenting create targeted groups with common
interests. No more searching for marketing leads. They come to you and they also
                           recommend your product to friends.

Make it easy for users to pin from wherever they are. Here are several to

            Focusing on Strategy

Now that you’ve seen Pinterest through the eyes of a user, this section tells you
about four key ways to use Pinterest to achieve your business goals:

» Use the power of visuals to attract followers.
First and foremost, you need to think of Pinterest as a gigantic billboard for
your company that can be seen by millions. Users can find images in all sorts
of ways because they are pinned and re-pinned. You never know how many
people you can reach until you start pinning and getting feedback. You can
see what’s popular and determine how to create more content of that type.
                                 » Develop cross promotion.

Cross promotion to and from Pinterest will power up your other marketing
efforts and is key to optimizing your use of Pinterest. Every one of your social
