            Working with Sponsored Tweets




                           One  other  current  advertising  opportunity  that  blends  into  the  paid-tactics
                           domain is sponsored tweets. In a  similar  fashion to  sponsored posts on blogs,
                           some Twitter users with very large followings are open to publishing sponsored
                           tweets. Sponsored tweets are  done  by  speaking directly  to  Twitter  users and
                           securing their interest in posting. You discuss the marketing campaign with will-
                           ing users and they tweet about your campaign in their own language and style to
                           their own audiences.


                           Typically, Twitter users publish sponsored tweets only if they can disclose the fact
                           that they’re sponsored, and if the marketing messages are in sync with their own
                           personal brand and the type of information that they like to share with their fol-
                           lowers. Sponsored  tweeting  is  an emergent  marketing  tactic. An example  of a
