If you design your website as a hub versus a destination, your website will imme-
                           diately become more valuable to your customers. Even though this may mean that
                           you’ll be pointing your  consumers  to external sites,  they  may treat yours  as a
                           starting point in the future.

                           The Mars corporate brand designed its current website (https://www.mars.com/)
                           so that you can learn everything about its corporate philosophy, various brands,
                           and work in local communities all in one place (see Figure 21-1).

                           Linking prominently to your
                           presence on social platforms


                           As long as customers  interact  with  your  brand,  it  matters  little  where  they’re
                           interacting with it. For consumers, the Internet is the social platform on which
                           they share information, connect with their friends, develop business relationships,
                           and get entertained. They’re also interacting with brands on these social platforms.
                           You must highlight your presence on these social platforms right on your website,
                           too. If your customers want to interact with you on social platforms, help them to
                           do  so  by  showing them how  they can.  For example,  The  Content Marketing
